2023 will be a better year for Cuba
We have hard work ahead of us, which implies facing the complex problems that the Cuban economy is going through, but we are convinced that we will have a better year, with the support of the people, highlighted Alejandro Gil Fernández, vice prime minister and head of Economy and Planning, by presenting the Plan of the economy for 2023 to the National Assembly of People's Power.

With the presence of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the first day of the Tenth Regular Session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), in its Ninth Legislature, began on Monday at the Convention Palace in Havana.
In his opening remarks, the President of the Parliament and of the Council of State, Esteban Lazo Hernández, evoked the thoughts of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, "whose legacy guides and will always guide the work of the National Assembly".
Havana International Book Fair: For an inclusive reading
The 31st Havana International Book Fair (FILH), to be held from February 9 to 19, 2023, will have as its theme "Inclusive reading", since the contemporary world allows us to enjoy ways of reading that enrich our better understanding of the environment and interaction with multiple communicative supports.
The XXII Summit of Heads of State and Government of ALBA-TCP will meet in Havana
Cuba will host the XXII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), which will take place on December 14.
The meeting will be propitious to commemorate the eighteenth anniversary of the creation of ALBA-TCP and exchange on the progress and challenges of this agreement mechanism, for the benefit of our nations.
