Fihav and its trajectory, sign of Cuba
The Havana International Fair (Fihav), which starts today, is not only an excellent opportunity for business, but also a symbol of Cuba's economic recovery and its potential.
Its trajectory allows for a current 38th version, loaded with the attention of the most outstanding markets in the world, hence for many experts it is interpreted as the most important exhibition of its kind in Latin America and the Caribbean (based in the Havana venue of Expocuba).
In the integration of its nations lies the progress of the Caribbean.
Integration as the basis for the realization of any common project leading to economic progress and the well-being of the peoples of the region was a premise defended at the inaugural session of the VI Conference on International Cooperation of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), which was attended by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the member of the Political Bureau and Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.

The feature film, made under the coordination of director Fernando Pérez, presents six stories about Cuban society during the pandemic and competed with 24 films for the Havana Star Award.
The jury highlighted when announcing the award that it is a graphic record that poetically portrays the bloodiest chapter in contemporary health history and how humanity tried to adapt and move forward, referring to the COVID-19 pandemic.
