Children in Washington D.C. learn about Cuba

Children and teachers from the Harriet Tubman public elementary school in Washington D.C., emotionally welcomed officials from the Cuban Embassy in that capital.
During the exchange, the children were able to learn about the history of the island, historical places, the main achievements of the Revolution in the health, education and sports sectors, as well as the bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States. 
Between photos and participation games, the children took an imaginary trip to the nation of classic cars, impressive buildings and beautiful beaches. 

Cuba is grateful for the recognition of its management at the head of the G77 and China.

Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez, today thanked the pronouncements at the III South Summit in recognition of his leadership, efforts and work at the head of the G77 and China in 2023.

Cuban Vice-President Salvador Valdés today stressed before the members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) the imperative need to maintain the unity of the group and coordinate positions in the face of the new global challenges.

Speaking on the opening day of the XIX Summit of the NAM in Uganda, Valdes stressed that the Caribbean nation, in its capacity as president of the Group of 77 and China, is committed to fostering unity, solidarity and cooperation among the countries of the South.

Nachito Herrera will pay tribute to Cuba and its music.

Pianist and composer Nachito Herrera informed today that he will pay tribute to Cuban music with the concert "Cuba Vive", which will inaugurate the Santiago chapter of the Jazz Plaza International Festival on the 21st.

At a press conference in the Sierra Maestra hall of the Hotel Meliá Santiago, the Cuban musician based in the United States said that in the first part of the concert at the Heredia Theater of this city, he will perform classical works by Ernesto Lecuona, as well as Frédéric Chopin, Serguei Rajmáninov, in the Cuban style.
