The US embargo affects the development of the Cuban sports movement.
In the case of sports, the limitations and costs for the acquisition of sports equipment, fabrics, footwear, technical means and teaching aids, technological support tools, among others, have increased, since the leading manufacturer of all of them is the United States. These items are currently purchased in third countries. Therefore, costs have increased by more than 50 per cent, which imposes limits to their purchase.
