Deputy Foreign Minister of Jamaica receives Cuban Ambassador

Ambassador Marcia Gilbert-Roberts, CD, Permanent Secretary and Head of the Foreign Service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, received the Ambassador of Cuba to this Caribbean nation.

Ambassador Marcia Gilbert-Roberts, CD, Permanent Secretary and Head of the Foreign Service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, received the Ambassador of Cuba to this Caribbean nation, H.E Mrs. Ines Fors Fernández, at the Ministry´s headquarters.

During the meeting, the parties addressed issues of the bilateral agenda, including Jamaica's historical support for the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US Government on Cuba.
