This date marks the 39th anniversary of the assassination in New York City of the Cuban diplomat Félix García Rodríguez, an official of our mission to the UN, by members of the counterrevolutionary group Omega 7.

Doctor Sharon Anderson-Morgan, representing the Ministry, extended the gratitude of the Jamaican authorities to Cuban teachers, highlighted the importance of the work they carry out and commended the contribution of the Cuban Education Brigade to training at different levels of education in this Caribbean nation.
