A new group of Cuban health professionals arrives in Jamaica.

Kingston, Jamaica, 23 January 2020. Full of expectations and with a firm vocation to serve those in need of medical assistance, a total of 40 Cuban nurses arrived in this capital.

The professionals from the Greatest Island in the Antilles received a warm welcome from authorities of the Ministry of Health and Wellness of Jamaica, who acknowledged Cuba's significant contribution to health care provision in the country.

Cuban nurses join Chain of Hope to save Jamaican children's lives.

Kingston, Jamaica, 22 January 2020. Two Cuban health professionals who serve at the Bustamante Children's Hospital in this capital, joined the Chain of Hope project now visiting Jamaica to perform cardiac catheterization procedure in Jamaican children hospitalized at this institution's Heart Center.

Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, H.E Mrs Inés Fors Fernández, was received at the Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade by the Director of the Caribbean and Americas Departament, Ms Marsha Coore Lobban, to review the main issues of the bilateral agenda.
