Kingston, Jamaica, 12 February 2019. Robert Montague, Minister of Transport and Mining of Jamaica, received the Cuban Ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández at the headquarters of that ministry. The occasion was conducive to exchange on topics of common interest, in a cordial environment of mutual respect and friendship.

Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, an occasion that was conducive to exchange on topics of interest, in an environment marked by cordiality, respect and friendship.

Kingston, Jamaica, 6 February 2019. Cuban Ambassador in Jamaica, H.E. Mrs. Ines Fors Fernandez, paid a call of courtesy on Attorney General of Jamaica, Mrs. Marlene Malahoo Forte this afternoon.

During the exchange, the Cuban Ambassador thanked the Attorney General for the presentation to the Jamaican Parliament, last October, of a motion condemning the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, an initiative that the Jamaican Parliament has signed for ten consecutive years.

Kingston, Jamaica, 6 February 2019. H.E. Mrs. Ines Fors Fernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica, paid a call of courtesy on the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, at the Ministry’s headquarters this morning.

At the meeting with the Jamaican Minister, several topics of common interest were discussed, such as the project to build the Regional School of Arts of the Caribbean in Jamaica, an initiative developed during the Fifth Cuba-CARICOM Summit, held in Havana on December 8, 2014.
