Unanimous clamour for an end to the blockade against Cuba on Jamaican territory.

Savanna-la-Mar, 19 October 2024. Convened by the Westmoreland chapter of the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association (JCFA) an act of solidarity with our country took place. The Ambassador of Cuba in Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, representatives of the solidarity movement, graduates on the island, Cuban residents, local authorities and members of the medical and educational brigades working in this region were present.

Martian class commemorates the 132nd anniversary of the Apostle's arrival in Jamaica and the 156th anniversary of the beginning of the wars of independence in Cuba.

Kingston, 9 October 2024. Organised by the Cuban state mission in Jamaica in conjunction with the Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre, a special Martian class was held in celebration of the 132nd anniversary of the arrival of our National Hero in Jamaica and the 156th anniversary of the beginning of the struggle for independence.
