On the afternoon of this Tuesday, the Ambassador of Cuba Fermín Quiñones paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Derrick McKoy, Attorney General of Jamaica, at his offices in New Kingston. In the brief but cordial meeting, both officials shared the interest of strengthening cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of Jamaica and Cuba, with emphasis on academic and professional exchanges.

The meeting was led by the president of the District Electoral Commission, Professor Reynel Isalgué, and was attended by Ambassador Fermín Quiñones Sánchez and the rest of the group from the diplomatic headquarters, as well as members of the Educational Brigade stationed in Kingston.
