The Humanistic Solidarity Association Cuba-Santa Lucia held its General Meeting

The Humanistic Solidarity Association Cuba-Santa Lucia held last Saturday its V Biannual General Meeting, which was dedicated on this occasion to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries, held on August 23. As a result of the meeting, a new executive committee of the organization was elected, leading which was ratified as President Marlene Alexander. During his speech Marlene reiterated the invariable position of solidarity and friendship with Cuba and against the US blockade.

Tribute to Fidel in Saint Lucia

The 93rd anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief was celebrated yesterday, August 13th, in Saint Lucia, with a cultural activity in which the President of the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia - Cuba), Marlene Alexander participated as well as the members of the Cuban State Mission in this country, led by the Ambassador Alejandro Simancas.

The Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia - Cuba) issued a Communique in which they celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.  The text highlights the indisputable leadership and example of Fidel not only in Cuba, but rather in Latin America and the region.  It points out the prominent social, human values and values of solidarity which the Cuban Revolution has shown, guided by the ideals of Fidel and his work in favor of the people and the benefits in fundamental aspects such as health and education.  The Humanistic S

Minister of Health of Santa Lucia attends a ceremony to award scholarships granted by Cuba to students from this country.

The Honourable Mary Isaac, Minister of Health and Wellness of Saint Lucia and Alejandro Simancas Marín, Ambassador of Cuba to this country, formally awarded scholarships to the new students entering the upcoming Academic years studying different specialties in Cuba. In an emotional activity at the Embassy of Cuba, the group of young people selected, accompanied by their families signed the Grant Form through which they were formally granted the scholarship and, also, the Code of Ethics for Foreign Students in Cuba.
