The legacy and example of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, was highlighted today in Vienna, in the commemorative event on the occasion of the third anniversary of his physical death.
The Cuban Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Mrs. Loipa Sánchez Lorenzo had a fraternal meeting with the President and Secretary General of “ÖKG”, the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association; Michael Wögerer and Hermann Pernestorfer respectively, as part of her initial activities in the Diplomatic Mission.
The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Austria, Her Excellency, Mrs. Loipa Sánchez Lorenzo, presented the Copies of her Credentials to His Excellency, Mr. Johannes Peterlik, Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the European country.
In the meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, both parties valued positively the state of bilateral relations, agreeing on the willingness to continue strengthening them. Topics of international political interest were also addressed.
