The Federal President of Austria, Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen and the Ambassador of Cuba to this country, His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios held a cordial meeting on the occasion of the New Year Reception offered by the Austrian President to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Vienna.
With the presence of the Ambassador of Cuba in Austria, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios and a large public made up of Austrian friends and the team of the Embassy of Cuba in this country, the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated at the headquarters " Habana Club ", organized by the Association of Friendship Austria-Cuba (ÖKG).

Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios was received by H.E Ms. Ivana Živković, Assistant Minister, Head of the Directorate for Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, during his visit to the capital of the European country.

On the occasion of the traditional Christmas and New Year's reception hosted by H.E Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to that country; the Cuban Ambassador, H.E Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios held a meeting with the European President where both parties reaffirmed the good state of the bilateral relations and the willingness to continue strengthening them.
