Luis Morlote Rivas, member of the parliament and Vice-president of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, Technology, and Environment of the National Assembly of People´s Power arrives in Austria

The member of the parliament Luis Morlote Rivas arrived in Vienna, Austria today in the afternoon. He is the President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the EU Member States and Vice-president of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, Technology, and Environment of the National Assembly of People´s Power will execute to Vienna. Mr. Morlote is a young and prominent Cuban intellectual who also holds the position of First Vice President of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC by its Spanish initials).

The Deputy Director of the National Center for Minimum Access Surgery visits Vienna to participate in the 16th World Congress of the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus.

Doctor Rosalba Roque González, Deputy Director of the National Center for Minimum Access Surgery of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP by its Spanish acronym) will visit the Austrian capital on the occasion of her participation in the 16th World Congress of the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus which will be held from 16 to 19 September, 2018 at the headquarters of the prestigious University of Vienna.

Cuba participates in the official ceremony for the 20th Anniversary of the Group of 77 and China in its Chapter of Vienna

The Permanent Mission of Cuba to the International Organizations in Vienna participated in the official ceremony and the placement of a commemorative plaque on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the
establishment of the Group of 77 + China -Vienna Chapter.

Ambassador Carlos Játiva Naranjo, Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, the country that assumed the presidency of this Group in March 2018, delivered the opening remarks of the ceremony.

Cuba will participate in the 16th World Congress of the International Society for Esophagus Diseases in Austria

The 16th World Congress of the International Society for Esophagus Diseases will take place from September 16 to 19 in Vienna, Austria. Cuba will be represented in this important event by the prestigious Dr. Rosalba Roque González, Deputy Director and Professor in General Surgery and Principal Investigator of the National Center for Minimally Access Surgery.

A significant participation of our country is expected from international specialists, this is due to the achievements in this area by the Caribbean island.
