SOLIDARITY EVENT WITH CUBA IN THE ATHENIAN MUNICIPALITY OF ILIOPOULI

Organized by the Iliopouli Retirees Association and the Hellenic-Cuban Association of Friendship and Solidarity, an event was held to reaffirm solidarity with Cuba and the struggle of its people in the face of persistent and increasingly blatant accusations and threats from the main spokespeople of Yankee imperialism.
The event, which was well-attended and continued despite the rain, took place in one of the municipality's squares. Speakers highlighted the friendship and solidarity of the Greek people, reaffirming that Cuba and its noble people are not alone.

Yesterday, Tuesday, May 12, the Solidarity Concert for the Cuban People was held with great success at the Zografou Municipal Theater, co-organized by the Zografou City Council, the Cuban Embassy in Greece, and the ¡Salud Cuba! Project.
The warm participation of the audience was moving, with the theater packed to capacity, which confirmed in practice the feelings of international solidarity and support for the Cuban people.

As part of the powerful and massive unity movement that has mobilized the Cuban people to reaffirm their decision to defend their sovereignty, peace, and reject the threats and aggressions of imperialism, this afternoon, after singing the notes of our glorious National Anthem and in an atmosphere of patriotic and revolutionary fervor, we carried out #MySignatureForTheHomeland at the embassy headquarters.

Ms. Tina Katsafaki, mayor of the municipality of Zografou, received Ambassador Aramis Fuente Hernandez this afternoon. He thanked her for all the expressions of friendship and solidarity shown in this important municipality of the Greek capital, especially for the donations of medicines made to support the Cuban people in the face of the difficult situation they are experiencing due to the unprecedented strengthening of the economic, commercial, financial, and energy blockade.
