It was an honor to attend the presentation of the book "The Pentagon's Shadow over Latin America – From the Cold War to Trump" by Ilias Skyllakos, published by Topos Publishing House.

Several speakers highlighted the book's up-to-date and profound content, as well as the objectivity of the author's analyses and conclusions regarding the realities and dangers facing the peoples of this region due to the aggressive and coercive policies of imperialism, which reinforce its claims to domination and plunder.

SOLIDARITY EVENT “HANDS OFF CUBA – CUBA IS NOT ALONE”

Organized by the Piraeus branch of the KKE and the KNE “Traverso” Cultural Center, an event was held in solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and its heroic people. A large audience filled the spacious hall of the Pinacoteca in that municipality, where the friendly and supportive gathering took place.

INFORMATION MEETING OF THE DELEGATION THAT CARRIED A DONATION OF MEDICINES TO CUBA

At the headquarters of the Diethnes Vima Publishing House, Natasha Terlexi Panagiotis Katsaros, Lambros Katsaros, and Babis Misailides, members of the delegation that traveled to Havana as part of the Health-Cuba Project, with the objective of delivering suitcases of donated medicines to various hospitals and research centers in the country, held an information meeting to review their experience and contacts during their visit to Cuba.

COMMEMORATION IN ATHENS FOR THE 65TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GIRON INVASION

A ceremony was held at the New Star Cinema to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion.

Cuban Ambassador Aramis Fuente Hernández recalled details of the mercenary invasion of Cuba and how, currently, threats are renewed and the blockade is being reinforced to unprecedented levels with the energy embargo intended to provoke a humanitarian crisis of grave proportions.
