In Athens it was celebrated Martí's birth, anniversary of the revolution and condemn the blockade of Cuba

Athens, 9 February It was held in ASCLAYE (Sociocultural Alliance of Latin Americans and Spaniards in Greece) the 167th anniversary of birth of Cuban national hero José Martí and 61th of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution with a large group of initiatives at an event organized by the José Martí Cultural Association of solidarity with Cuba, with interventions on behalf of the Embassy of Cuba and the Association on these important dates. Exchanges were also made on present and future actions against the U.S. government's criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba, which was strongly condemned.

Promoting the destination Cuba in Athens, Greece

Athens, Greece February 7. An attractive meeting was held by the Greek tour operator Cosmorama Ltd, at the Art Café in Athens, where a hundred travel agents gathered, with the aim of knowing and promoting the enriching Cuban destination, admired worldwide so much for both its unique natural beauties, as for its renowned historical sites, and especially for the hospitality of its peaceful, polite, and hospitable people.
Elizabeth Rivas, executive of the MeliaCuba chain, as well as executives of Cosmorama Ltd, one of the 10 tour operators that promote Cuba destination in this brother country, took the floor, as well as the counsellor of the Cuban Embassy in Greece José Oriol Marrero Martinez who greeted the event on behalf of the mission.

Cuban diplomats meet with parliamentary group of friendship with Cuba in the Hellenic Parliament

Athens. February 4. Parliamentarians from the Friendship Group with Cuba of the Hellenic Parliament, headed by their President George Amiras, received at the parliamentary headquarters the ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Domínguez Cortina and the Councillor of the Embassy José Oriol Marrero Martinez, who both offered interesting information about the current situation in Cuba.
