Performance of the Havana Lyceum Orchestra in the Netherlands

Amsterdam, August 11, 2025. The main hall of the Concert Gebouw in the Dutch capital welcomed the Cuban ensemble, the Havana Lyceum Orchestra, with their performance of "Mozart and Mambo."

The evening offered to the Dutch audience, an excellent combination of Mozart's work with Cuban rhythms and composers. The program included important works such as El Bodeguero (Richard Egües), Mozart's Symphony No. 33 in B-flat, and the internationally renowned "Guatanamera," which closed the evening.

Nederweert-Eind, August 3, 2025. On Sunday afternoon, the Cuba Adelante Foundation, founded by Mieke and Gerard Rutjens, celebrated its 11th anniversary by organizing a fundraising concert in support of its projects in Cuba.

Celebration of National Rebellion Day in the Netherlands

The Hague, July 26, 2025. Gathered at the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of the Dutch Foreign Ministry, representatives from various economic sectors, close friends of solidarity, and compatriots residing in that country celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.

Meeting with Cuban residents in Limburg

Limburg, July 12, 2025. Today a group of Cubans residing in this southern province of the Netherlands met to receive a visit from officials of the Consulate General of Cuba.
During the meeting, information was provided on consular procedures and on the current immigration, foreigners and citizenship regulations.
In addition, the possibility for Cubans living abroad to participate in business and investments in the island was discussed, contributing their knowledge and experience for the development of our country.

Heerhugowaard, July 10, 2025. The Dutch Solidarity sends two containers of school furniture to Cuba. The donation was made possible thanks to the support of the administration of De Boomladder school in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands. We are especially grateful to Jeroen Bruins for his special support and contribution.

The Cuba Adelante Foundation, other supporters, Dutch companies, and representatives of the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands participated in the loading and shipping of this donation.
