Statement by the Revolutionary Government
The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable accusation by the United States Department of Justice announced on May 20 and proclaimed for several weeks against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution.
Amsterdam, May 18, 2026. The Santo Domingo Church (Dominicuskerk), located in this Dutch city, hosted the commemoration of the 78th anniversary of Nakba Day (catastrophe in Arabic) on Friday, May 15, marking the day when hundreds of thousands of people were expelled from their cities, towns, and villages across most of historic Palestine.

This Saturday, May 9, 2026, on the occasion of Europe Day, and in defense of human rights and just causes around the world, Letz Act for Palestine, jonk Lénk, the Communist Party of Luxembourg, Solidarity Luxembourg-Cuba, and other peace organizations joined the protest in support of Cuba in front of the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg.
