Cuban Ambassador presents her Letters of Credence before King Willem Alexander

The Hague, February 19, 2025. The Cuban ambassador Eva Yelina Silva Walker, presented this Wednesday, in a traditional Dutch ceremony, the Letters of Credence that accredit her as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to His Majesty, King Willem Alexander.

During the exchange held with the Dutch Head of State, the representative of the Cuban government reiterated the commitment to continue promoting cooperation in various sectors and economic and commercial ties between both countries.

Meeting with members of the Turkish Communist Party Organization in Holland

The Hague, February 4, 2025. Representatives of the Turkish Communist Party Organization in the Netherlands visited the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands to exchange on topics of common interest.

During the visit, they talked about the Cuban reality and the effects imposed by the United States blockade for more than 6 decades against the Cuban people. The members of the Organization expressed their rejection of the re-inclusion of Cuba on the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism. 

Cuban afternoon organized by the Breast Prosthesis Foundation

Den Dungen, February 2, 2025. The Dutch Foundation “Breast Prosthesis” organized a Cuban afternoon, as a contribution to the promotion of the culture of the Caribbean island in the Netherlands.

The evening featured a combined performance by Cuban and Dutch artists, who delighted participants with several pieces from the traditional Cuban repertoire and a mix of musical rhythms that included cha, cha, cha, bolero, salsa and merengue.
