The Hague, January 31, 2025. At the headquarters of Het Nutshuis, the Hague Group was established, in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The group is made up of Belize, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Malaysia, Namibia, Senegal and South Africa, and is the result of an initiative promoted by Progressive International.
Cuba rejects U.S. decision to incarcerate migrants in the Guantanamo Naval Base
Cuba rejects the decision announced by the President of the United States to use the Guantanamo Naval Base to imprison tens of thousands of migrants he has proposed to forcibly expel. It is a demonstration of the brutality with which that government is acting to supposedly correct problems created by the economic and social conditions of that country, the government's own management and its foreign policy, including hostility towards countries of origin.
Weert, January 18, 2024. The Cuba Adelante Foundation presented a stand about Cuba at the Tourism Fair organized in its province, in the south of the Netherlands. The Cuban Embassy accompanied them in promoting the Cuba destination.
Information was offered about different spaces for enjoying tourism on the Caribbean island and materials from the “Unique Cuba” Campaign were delivered. Good Cuban music could not be missing, along with promotional videos of historical, cultural and natural sites that tourists can enjoy on their visits to the country.
Amsterdam, January 16, 2024. The North Holland Division of the New Communist Party of the Netherlands dedicated its January film evening to commemorating the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and organized a subsequent conversation about Cuba, with representatives of the Embassy as panelists.

The Community of Ethiopian Cubans in Europe celebrates the decision announced by the president of the United States, on the withdrawal of Cuba from the spurious and unilateral List of State Sponsors of Terrorism, in which it should never have been registered.
