On Saturday the 14th, members of the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association, as well as Latin American friends and Cubans living in this country, responded positively to an invitation extended by the Cuban Embassy to pay tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of his birth.

In the framework of the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference, in Geneva, a fruitful exchange took place between the delegation of the Workers' Central Union of #Cuba, headed by Isdalis Rodríguez Rodríguez, second national secretary, and executives from the International Department of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions LO.

Oslo, June 10, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, paid a visit to Ufuk Ünal, General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Norway.
They exchanged on the excellent opportunity that airline offers to those wishing to travel to Cuba from Norway for any reason, including tourism.
It was a suitable occasion for the Cuban diplomat to convey congratulations to Mr. Ünal and his staff on the 20th anniversary of TK flying Istanbul-Oslo.

Oslo, June 9, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited Nor-Shipping 2025, that took place from June 2 to 6, at Nova Spektrum, in Lillestrøm.
Nor-Shipping, that this year is celebrating its 60th anniversary, is one of the world's most important trade fair and meeting places for the shipping and maritime industries.
This year´s edition, which was opened with a ceremony in Oslo City Hall, in which the Ambassador also had the opportunity to participate, gathered around 60,000 visitors from nearly 100 countries. (Embassy of Cuba to Norway)
