Oslo, May 5, 2025. Along with her colleagues from the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC), the Cuban Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, participated in a meeting with the Norwegian Minister of International Development, Åsmund Grøver Aukrust.

Norway's priorities in international cooperation and assistance for development, as well as its current projection in those fields in Latin America and Caribbean countries, were widely addressed. Special emphasis was placed on the potential for expansion in areas of common interest.

Oslo, May 2nd, 2025. In the morning hours of this May 1st, in the Nordre Gravlund cemetery, the Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, took part in the traditional ceremony organized by the Communist Party of Norway (NKP) to pay homage to the militants that were executed and disappeared during the Nazi occupation between 1940 and 1945.

As in previous years, NKP seized the opportunity to pay also a memorial tribute to the Norwegian communist poet Rudolf Nilsen, who died in 1929.
