Oslo, August 26, 2022. Representatives from the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines, headed by Rosell Guerra Campaña, Director of Renewable Energies, and Ramón López Ramos, Business Director of the National Electric Union, held a virtual meeting with Norwegian counterparts.

The Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the headquarters of Norwegian Energy Partners (Norwep), an organization that brings together more than 300 companies from the energy sector and whose objective is to promote the Norwegian energy industry and its capabilities in international markets, both in oil and gas and in renewable energy sources.

Strengthening professional training on social policies and welfare from an intercultural perspective”, in force between the Department of Sociology of the University of Havana (UH) and the Department of Social Studies of the University of Stavanger (UiS), continues to develop satisfactorily.
Oslo, August 23, 2022. The Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, where she held a meeting with Astri S. Platou, its External Affairs Director.
The Norwegian executive offered a detailed explanation about the structure and mission of the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, as well as the services it offers to its members, which was of great interest.
The fires that started on August 5th at the Supertanker Depot in the Matanzas Industrial Zone are being courageously fought by Cuban firefighters alongside specialists from Venezuela and Mexico. The Communist Party of Norway salutes not only them, but the citizens of Matanzas in their brave perseverance while facing this disaster, and their friends and families all over Cuba.
