GRULAC Ambassadors in Sweden Bid Farewell to Cuban Ambassador

Stockholm, April 30. Representatives of the GRULAC Ambassadors bid farewell to Cuban Ambassador Alba Soto Pimentel in Sweden, who is about to conclude her mission.

They praised the Cuban diplomat's work during her presidency of the organization, which helped advance the bilateral agenda with the Nordic country's political and diplomatic institutions, and wished her success in her upcoming responsibilities.

In an exchange with those present, the Cuban diplomat discussed Cuba's current situation and the challenges it faces in an adverse international context, marked by the intensification of the blockade, the intensified financial persecution by the current US administration, and a media campaign aimed at creating a negative opinion about Cuba's international collaboration, particularly in the health sector.
