Addis Ababa, September 30, 2022. In an emotional atmosphere took place in this capital "The Night of Etio-Cuban Fraternity", organized by the Embassy of Cuba and the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry. The activity was chaired by the Minister of Development of the Democratic System of Ethiopia, Dr. Alemu Sime and on the Cuban side the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás.
Addis Ababa, August 28, 2022. The Association of Etho-Cubans of the city of Adama, held its general assembly on Sunday, to which the members of the Embassy of Cuba were invited. This Association is composed of more than 285 members who make up in its structure a Savings and Credit Cooperative that undertakes economic assistance projects among its participants.

Addis Ababa, August 12, 2022. The Ambassador of Cuba in Ethiopia, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, held a meeting with the Ambassador of South Sudan in this country, James Pitia Morgan. The Cuban ambassador, also appointed as ambassador to South Sudan, recalled the historic ties of friendship that unite the two countries and reaffirmed Cuba's willingness to continue granting scholarships for the training of low-income students from developing countries and presented two new scholarships for the 2023 academic year.
