CUBAN STATE MISSION IN GHANA PAYS TRIBUTE TO FALLEN COMBATANTS IN VENEZUELA

Accra. 06 January. – Members staff of the Cuban State Mission in Ghana solemnly honored the 32 Cubans who fell on Venezuelan soil following the criminal aggression of the U.S. government.

In his remarks, Ambassador Julio E. Pujol Torres condemned the treacherous attack aimed at the capture and kidnapping of Venezuela’s elected President, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Celia, in a military operation that constitutes a flagrant violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations.

NO TO MILITARY AGGRESSION AND INTERFERENCE IN VENEZUELA.

The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) condemns in the strongest terms the imperialist aggression of the United States against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Célia Flores. This attack constitutes a flagrant violation of national sovereignty, the Charter of the United Nations, international law, and the fundamental principles of the freedom of people.

LEADER OF SOCIALIST MOVEMENT OF GHANA CONDEMNS U.S. AGGRESSION TO VENEZUELA

Accra, 04 January. – Veteran journalist and leader of the Socialist Movement of Ghana Kwesi Pratt, Jnr. has strongly criticized what he describes as U.S. aggression against Nigeria, Venezuela, and other nations, warning that such actions lack justification and risk plunging the world into wider conflict.

Pratt, Jnr. further called on the Government of Ghana to remove the U.S. military base from Ghana, stressing the need to protect national sovereignty and global peace.
