CUBAN AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH ESBECAN EXECUTIVE BOARD

Accra. 3 October. On this date, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres, received at the premises of the Embassy the President of the Association of Cuban Graduates (ESBECAN), Mr. Jacob Sosi, together with members of the newly elected executive board.

Accra. 27 September. As part of the celebration of the Seventh Congress of the Association of Cuban Graduates (ESBECAN), the Ambassador of the Greater Antilles to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio E. Pujol Torres, met with a group of newly graduated students from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), whom our National Hero, José Martí, aptly described as “the new pines.”

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC EXPRESSES DISAGREEMENT WITH US POLICY OF BLOCKADE AGAINST CUBA AT 80TH UNGA.

Accra. 25 September. As part of Ghana’s participation in the regular session of the 80th United Nations General Assembly the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama, expressed his disagreement with the United States’ policy of economic sanctions against Cuba and, addressing the plenary, the statesman revealed: “And while I am making requests, I’d like to call on the removal of the blockade on Cuba, as of Kwame Nkrumah, our nations’ founder has famously said: We seek to be friends of all, and enemies to none.

Cuban Embassy participates in Socialist Movement Ghana Congress

Accra, 20 September, 2025. – The Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Julio E. Pujol Torres, and Second Secretary Yamil E. Martinez represented Cuba at the Second Congress of the Ghana Socialist Movement, held at the Amilcar Cabral School in Aburi, Ghana.

Accra, 11 September. President of ICAP, Hero of the Republic of Cuba MP, Fernando González Llort, was received in a fraternal meeting by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, in his office at Jubilee House.
