Workers' Day in Ghana.

Accra, May 1, 2022. - Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Anette Chao García, participates in the central event for Workers' Day in Ghana, at the Black Star Square in Accra. The ceremony, which was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ghana Trade Union Congress, Anthony Baah, was attended by the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Vice President and three ministers and members of Parliament of the African country.

 

Former President John Dramani Mahama receives Cuban Ambassador to Ghana.

Accra, April 26, 2022. - Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ghana, Anette Chao García, on a courtesy visit. The meeting was attended by several members of the National Democratic Congress Party, including Hon. Kofi Attor, Vice-Chairman of the NDC and Senior Advisor at the Speaker's Secretariat.

 

Anniversary of the Victory of Bay of Pigs celebrated at the Islamic University of Ghana.

Accra, April 19, 2022. - With a lecture dubbed “Cuba, our friend in the struggle for survival”, attended by many students, the Islamic University of Ghana hosted the celebration of another anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people at Playa Girón. The lecturer, Professor Dr. Gamel Nasser Adam, Vice President of the University, highlighted the virtues of the Cubans and its Revolution who have lived and survived in the vicinity of a great empire, with a different political system.
