Accra, February 25, 2023 - The annual meeting of the Association of Ghanaians who have studied in Cuba was held under the theme "ESBECAN Get Together" with the presence of the Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Anette Chao Garcia, the wife of the late former president of Ghana, Nana Konadu Rawlings and Dr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr., leader of the Socialist Movement of Ghana.
Accra, January 1, 2023 - The State Mission of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana began the year listening to the words of solidarity and congratulations of comrade Dr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr., General Secretary of the Socialist Movement of Ghana and undisputed icon of the Ghanaian solidarity with Cuba, since the beginning of relations between the two states.
Cape Coast, December 3, 2022. - H.E. Mrs. Anette Chao García, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana paid a visit to the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Cape Coast, Central Region of Ghana.
The meeting, in which she was accompanied by the head of the Medical Brigade in the African country, Dr. Mercedes Suárez Orama, was timely to update the doctors on the news from the island and to know their concerns in pursuit of a more effective collective work of the Cuban state mission in Ghana.
Accra, June 14, 2022. - The documentary “San Ernesto nace en la Higuera” (Saint Ernest is born in La Higuera) kicked off a discussion on the life and work of Ernesto Che Guevara at the Freedom Centre in Accra this evening.
Dr Kwesi Pratt Jnr, General Secretary of the Socialist Movement of Ghana and historic leader of Solidarity with Cuba was the moderator and the keynote speaker was Hon. Kofi Attor, Vice Chairman of the NDC, former Member of Parliament and Senior Advisor at the Speaker's Secretariat.
