ANC reaffirms its historic solidarity with Cuba

Pretoria, February 18, 2026.- The Deputy Secretary General of the African National Congress (ANC), Nomvula Mokonyane, reiterated the party's solidarity with the government and people of Cuba in the face of renewed and harsher sanctions against the island and the United States oil blockade. During the meeting, they also discussed how to strengthen the inter-party relations between the ANC and the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), as well as bilateral cooperation.
