Pretoria, 1st October.- The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, received the king of Eswatini, Mswati III, in the Palace of the Revolution, with whom he held official conversations. At the meeting, both parties ratified the good state of bilateral relations, based on ties of friendship and collaboration, and expressed the will to strengthen cooperation for mutual benefit. They also exchanged on topics of interest of international events.

Pretoria, 30 September, 2019.- King Mswati III, arrived on Sunday in Cuba to begin an official visit in which the exchange with senior Cuban leaders is planned to strengthen ties between nations. He was received at the José Martí International Airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Teresita González Fraga.

Members of the Cuban State Mission in South Africa celebrate the 59th anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution

Pretoria, 29 September, 2019.- On September 28, the 59th anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), a community organization that has been at the center of Cuba's social development, was celebrated. The members of the Cuban State Mission in South Africa met to commemorate this date as it is celebrated annually in each Cuban neighborhood.

Pretoria, 29 September, 2019.- Renowned Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca and his group participated in the "Joy of Festival" one of the most important jazz festivals of the African continent, that took place at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg from September 26 to 28. The festival was a platform to showcase multi-award-winning South African artists of the genre and other international artists from as far away as Thailand, USA, Indonesia, Nigeria and Mozambique.

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Naledi Pandor, addressed today at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in support of Cuba

Pretoria, 28 September, 2019.- South Africa International Relations and Cooperation Minister, Naledi Pandor addressed today in the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. Pandor is leading the South African delegation to the 74th Session of UNGA.

During her speech Pandor expressed the government of South Africa support to Cuba, when stated: "We also reiterate our steadfast solidarity with the Government and People of Cuba, while condemning the continuation of unilateral sanctions against Cuban."
