Cuba celebrates International Workers' Day

Pretoria, May 2, 2019.- Millions of Cuban workers paraded on May 1st through the main squares and avenues of Cuba to celebrate International Workers' Day.
To this day, the celebration of the workers' conquests since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, attended the General of the Army and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Raul Castro Ruz, the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and other authorities.

The Lenin Prize is awarded to Raúl Castro Ruz

Pretoria, May 2, 2019.-After the massive parade of workers in the Revolution Square "José Martí", in Havana, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and General Army Raúl Castro Ruz, received the Lenin Prize awarded by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, "for its exceptional contribution to the construction of socialism and its work to consolidate the principles of justice, humanism and social progress."

Cuba cannot withdraw its troops from Venezuela, because they do not exist

Pretoria, May 2, 2019.-The deputy general director of the United States office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Johana Tablada, told in a press conference in Havana that "there are no Cuban troops in Venezuela," so it is impossible to withdraw them from that country, as claimed on Twitter the President of the United States Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, the US president threatened Cuba with implementing a "total and complete blockade, together with the highest level of sanctions," if Havana did not withdraw "troops" and "militias" in Venezuela.
