Pretoria, 5 June 2025. Cuba's Chargé d'Affaires in South Africa, Ambassador Esther Armenteros, held a fruitful meeting with Deputy Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Peace Mabe. During the exchange, they followed up on the main issues of bilateral relations in the sector and both advocated for the deepening and expansion of the ties.
Kempton Park, 31 May 2025: To celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Africa Liberation Day, the Cuban Embassy in South Africa participated in the Fair organised by the African Diplomatic Corps, alongside the Nicaraguan and Venezuelan embassies. The stand shared by the three countries was characterised by folklore, history, music and Latin flavours.

Pretoria, 23 May 2025: The Cuban Embassy in South Africa participated in an exhibition organised by Saint Albans High School to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Africa Liberation Day. Alongside other embassies accredited in Pretoria, students were shown the significance of this commemoration, and in Cuba's case, the strong relations that unite the island with the African continent.
