Havana, 1 July 2025.- A delegation from the South African Communist Party (SACP), led by its General Secretary Solly Mapaila, arrived in Cuba today on a working visit. During their stay on the island, they will hold meetings with leading figures of the Cuban Communist Party and will also visit centres of interest for bilateral relations between our countries.
Pretoria, 21 June 2025.- Part of the Cuban community in South Africa gathered on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the culture, identity and traditions of our country. With good music, dancing and dominoes, the laws of physics were defied and Cuba was brought to Pretoria, thousands of kilometres away, especially for the young people who carry the island in their hearts, in spite of the distance.
Maseru, 14 June 2025.- Officials from the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, who are visiting Lesotho, held important meetings with members of the Cuban medical brigade in the kingdom and with a representation of graduates who studied in Cuba, in the framework of the commemoration of the 46th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

As part of the 46th anniversary of bilateral relations between Cuba and the Kingdom of Lesotho, officials from the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, which is also accredited to Lesotho, paid a working visit to the kingdom to review the main issues in bilateral relations. They held fruitful meetings with the Ministries of International Relations and Health.
Johannesburg, 10 June 2025. The Forge, a meeting place for students and intellectuals in the centre of Johannesburg, witnessed today the enduring relevance of Ernesto Che Guevara's thinking and his great influence on the Cuban revolutionary process. It was clear that Che also lives and thrives in Africa. The cold winter did not deter the nearly 50 people who gathered there to talk about the heroic guerrilla fighter.
