Fraternal meeting between ambassadors of Cuba and Iraq in Tehran

Tehran, August 27, 2019. The Cuban Ambassador, Alexis Bandrich Vega received the Hon. At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy. Mr. Dr. Saad Jawad Kindeel, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Tehran. During the fraternal meeting, both reaffirmed the common will to expand and strengthen bilateral relations, as well as to advance in areas of cooperation of mutual benefit, at the height of the historical ties that unite our peoples.

Cuba and Iran for greater cooperation in sports.

Tehran, August 25, 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega was received this morning by the Vice Minister for the Development of Professionals and Sports Championships of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani, who highlighted the historical ties of brotherhood and cooperation that both countries maintain, as well as the willingness of his ministry to expand cooperation to multiple areas and sports disciplines.

Successfully held the first Cuba - Iran Business Forum.

Tehran, August 10, 2019. With the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two nations, the first Cuba-Iran Business Forum was held.
Chaired by the Cuban Ambassador to Iran, Alexis Bandrich and the vice president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Hossein Selahvarzi, the Forum raised high expectations and became a space to be replicated in the multiple chambers of commerce of the Iranian provinces.

Cuba and Iran, 40 years of diplomatic relations.

Tehran, August 8 2019. On August 8, 1979, the Republic of Cuba and the Islamic Republic of Iran reestablished diplomatic relations. In this way Cuba became one of the first countries to recognize the new Republic that was born after the triumph of a historic Revolution. This fact marked the beginning of a friendship between both nations that lasts until our days.
