Tehran, January 25, 2019. The simple verses of the Cuban National Hero José Martí, declaimed in the Farsi language, moved all those present at the political-cultural event that the Cuban Embassy, Cuban residents and members of the Iranian Solidarity Organization Cuba, made to commemorate the 166th anniversary of the birth of the Master.
Tehran, January 2, 2019. Cuban Ambassador Alexis Bandrich was received in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the new Advisor to the Iranian Foreign Minister and Director General for the Americas, Ambassador Mohsen Baharvand. During the fraternal meeting, they reviewed the current state and perspectives of bilateral relations, the upcoming celebration in Havana of the XVIII Session of the Cuba-Iran Intergovernmental Commission as well as exchanged about the most recent regional events.
Tehran, January 3, 2019. On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, Cuban Ambassador Alexis Bandrich, was interviewed by the Persian newspaper "El Sol de Yazd", in which he addressed the present and future of relations between Cuba and Iran, the deterioration of relations with the US government, continuity as a premise in the new Cuban government, the blockade of our country and other regional political issues.
