Indian Minister of Education participated in the Meeting of Ministers of Education of the G77+China.

The Hon'ble Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, participated in the G77 plus China Education Ministers' Meeting held on February 2 in Havana. The central theme of the meeting was: "Science, technology and innovation for quality education. Educational challenges in the post-pandemic context". The Minister of Education addressed, virtually, educational challenges for the countries of the South in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Solidarity with Cuba in Bangladesh.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Cuba and Bangladesh, several forces and organizations of the latter country reaffirmed their position of solidarity and friendship towards the Cuban Revolution during meetings held with Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Simancas Marin.

Ambassador of Cuba presents Letters of Credence to the President of Bangladesh.

The President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, His Excellency Abdul Hamid, received on January 30 the Letters of Credence accrediting Alejandro Simancas Marin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the government of that Asian country.

Cuba congratulates India on the occasion of Republic Day.

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent his congratulations to H.E. Smt. Drupadi Murmu, and H.E. Narendra Modi, President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India, respectively. On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of India, the Cuban President extended his cordial congratulations and reaffirmed the desire to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Celebrate a day of solidarity with Cuba in India with the attendance of Aleida Guevara.

On the occasion of the visit of Dr. Aleida Guevara March, daughter of the Heroic Guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, different organizations and friends of the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba are organizing a large and massive day in support of the Revolution and the Cuban people in seven states of India.

Aleida Guevara was invited to India by the KR Gouri Amma Foundation, which awarded her the homonymous decoration, named after a prominent political and communist authority of the Indian state of Kerala.
