Cuba and India hold consultations on multilateral issues.

Cuba and India held talks today on a broad agenda of issues in the multilateral field, as part of the regular diplomatic exchanges between both nations.

The General Director of Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rodolfo Benítez Verson, chaired the Cuban delegation. The Indian delegation was headed by the H.E. Hon. Prakash Gupta, Joint Secretary of the United Nations Political Division of the Ministry of External Affairs of that country.

Cuba congratulates Bangladesh on the occasion of its National Day.

Cuba congratulates the Government and people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the occasion of its Independence Day. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, conveyed a cordial message of congratulations to their counterparts, His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Abdul Hamid, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and His Excellency Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment addresses at the 28th Partnership Summit in India.

New Delhi, Mar 14 (Prensa Latina) The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, said at the Summit of Associations of the Confederation of Indian Industry, that Cuba will defend multilateralism at all costs.

Malmierca said Monday in New Delhi the views of the island on this issue, speaking at the 28th edition of the event, which is being held until tomorrow March 15 in collaboration with the Department of Promotion of Industry and Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India.

India and Cuba highlight potential to increase bilateral trade.

New Delhi, Mar 12 (Prensa Latina) India and Cuba agreed today that there is potential to increase bilateral trade, after the meeting of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, and the Minister of Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca.

The Cuban side also expressed its willingness to favor the investment of Indian capital in Cuba, as well as joint projects in renewable energy and the pharmaceutical industry, according to the Cuban official on the social network Twitter.
