Cuban Ambassador to India delivered a congratulatory message from the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) on the occasion of the 96th Anniversary of the creation of the Communist Party of India (CPI).

The General Secretary of the CPI, Mr. Raja, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in India, Alejandro Simancas Marín, who delivered a congratulatory message from the Vice Chief and Coordinator of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the PCC, Ángel Arzuaga Reyes, on the occasion of the 96th Anniversary of the creation of this political organization, one of the oldest in India.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the CPI-M, Sitaram Yechury.

During the exchange, the ties of fraternity that unite the Communist Party of Cuba and the Communist Party of India - Marxist were remarked; at the same time they expressed their wishes for the strengthening of the bonds between the political and mass organizations linked to both institutions.
