Ambassador of Cuba visits the heroic village of Xeingda in the district of Sisattanak.

Vientiane January 2024. The Cuban Ambassador held an unforgettable meeting with the leaders and inhabitants of the heroic town of Xeingda, whose children also had a significant participation in the struggles for the independence of Laos. The head of mission and accompanying leaders paid tribute at the monument erected to the 28 heroes of that district who offered their lives in the epic revolutionary feat.

Lao party leaders coordinate actions with the Cuban Embassy.

Vientiane January 2024. The general directors of the Europe and Americas Department Sengphakhun Vanthanouvung, as well as Vongkham Sengsathip of People's Diplomacy, of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, held working meetings with the head of mission of the Cuban Embassy in this capital.

Director General of the Lao Foreign Ministry receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Vientiane January 2024. Ambassador Enna Viant had a positive exchange with the Director General of the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Daovy Vongxay. The Cuban diplomat thanked Lao PDR for its support during the XIX NAM Summit held in Kampala, Uganda, an occasion on which support for Cuba was reiterated in its just condemnation of the U.S. economic, financial and commercial blockade against the island.

Cuba participates in a workshop organized by UNICEF in Laos.

Vientiane January 2024 Ambassador Enna Viant participated in the Workshop for the review and analysis of data provided by UNICEF, linked to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Lao PDR. This event was an important effort in which different ministries such as Health, Education, the Lao Bureau of Statistics and other institutions are linked. Important exercise for the decision-making of the Government of Laos in order to achieve the ambitious goals and implementation of the SDGs and the guidelines of the 9th.
