Vientiane March, 2024 . The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba has issued the following declaration on Haiti current situation:
The Republic of Haiti is facing a serious multidimensional crisis that has worsened social instability, poverty and structural underdevelopment resulting from centuries of colonial and neocolonial pillaging and foreign interventions.
Vientiane March 2024. A nice atmosphere was created during the courtesy visit of the Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant, to the Director General of the Information, Culture and Tourism Department of Vientiane Capital, Ms. Viengphone Keokounsy.
Both counterpart have exchanged about artistic expressions and different ways to strengthen the traditional cultural relations between #Cuba and #Laos.

The Cuban ambassador held a friendly meeting and exchange with women leaders of Lao PDR, including the vice president of the Lao Women's Union and the deputy minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the occasion of the celebration of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day.
Vientiane March, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba participated in the review meeting of the Medium-Term Cooperation Plan between the Lao Government and the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, in the period 2022-2026.
Achievements and challenges in working for children's rights and well-being, including health, nutrition, education and protection since the beginning of UNICEF's cooperation with this Southeast Asian country in December 1973, were presented.
