Selection of the "Our Friend Martí" Contest Ends

Vientiane , October 2023. Representatives of the Friendship Association, the Lao National University, and the Cuban Embassy, held fruitful exchanges to analyze the Contest works presented by students under the title "Our Friend Martí", which will be awarded soon on October 20, Cuban Culture Day. Arduous days of work, debates, resulted in the good proposals that demonstrated skills and knowledge on the life and work of the National Hero, the most universal of all Cubans.

Meeting of the Cuban Embassy with officials of the Lao Foreign Ministry

Vientiane, October 2023. Ambassador Enna Viant Valdés held a friendly meeting with Mr. Daovy Vongxay, Director of International Organizations, and officials of that Department of the Lao Foreign Ministry.

Mr. Daovy Vongxay praised the organization, development and results of the recent Summit of Heads of State and Government held in Havana.

The friendship between the peoples of Cuba and Laos is strengthened

Vientiane September 2023. The vice president of the Lao National Assembly, president of the Friendship Association and of the Laos – Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, Dr. Chaleune Yiapahoer, received the Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdés, who was the bearer of the respective greetings from the vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power and of the Council of State,Ana Maria Mari Machado as well as the president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Fernando Gonzalez Llort.
