The Lao Supreme People´s Prosecutor receives the Ambassador of Cuba on a courtesy call.

The new President of the Supreme People´s Prosecutor Office of Laos, Mr. Xaysana Khotphouthone, received on a courtesy visit today the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Antonio Rodriguez Vidal, at the headquarters of said body.

In a friendly meeting, topics of interest in the bilateral relations between the Supreme People´s Prosecutor Office and the Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba were addressed, according to the Memorandum of Understanding that both institutions signed in 2019.

Delegations from the Cuban Communist Party and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party meet virtually.

This morning a videoconference took place between members of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

The delegations, led by Comrades Thongsavanh Pomvihane, member of the Central Committee and Head of the International Relations Committee of the LPRP and Jorge Luis Broche Lorenzo, Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC and Head of its Department of Education, Sports and Sciences, exchanged for three hours on topics of interest of both parties and especially, on the results of the 8th. Congress of the PCC.

Ambassador of #Cuba meets with Lao Minister of Industry and Commerce.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Dr. Khampheng Saysompheng, received this day, at the headquarters of his Ministry, the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Antonio Rodríguez Vidal, on a courtesy call after his appointment as the new Minister of the branch. At the meeting, held in the fraternal atmosphere characteristic of the existing relations between both countries, issues on the bilateral agenda in the sphere of competence of said Ministry were addressed.

The National Anthem of Cuba is heard in Laos for the Day of National Culture

Today, October 20, at 8:00 am, our National Anthem was heard in Laos at the opening ceremony of the “Laos-Cuba Friendship” school and the first monument to our National Hero, José Martí in this brother country. #CubaEsCultura, #LaTierraDeMisAmores, #CulturaComunitaria, #CasasDeCultura.
