After being received in the early hours of the morning by the First Vice Minister and Minister of Finance of Lao PDR, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, Cro. Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, along with his delegation, was received by Minister a.i. of Industry and Commerce, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and the Minister of Planning and Investments.
The President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mr, Oudet Souvannavong, received this morning at the headquarters of that institution the Cuban Ambassador, Ecmo. Mr. Pablo Antonio Rodríguez Vidal.

Dedicated to the Anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro and the creation of the Lao Front for National Development, on August 13, the farewell activity of the 6 Laotian students who won scholarships in Cuba was held today at the Embassy of Cuba: 4 in medicine, 1 in law and 1 in agronomy.
The Lao Youth Union (LYU) held today, at the national headquarters of the said Organization, an event to mark the 57th Anniversary of the founding of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) that included a conference by the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Rodríguez Vidal on the political thought of Commander Fidel Castro and the three heroes included in the UJC emblem.
