Dear comrade:
The Prof. Dr. Chaleun Yiapaoher, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, vice president of the National Assembly of the Republic, president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba and president of the Friendship Association Laos-Cuba, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo A. Rodríguez Vidal at the headquarters of said legislative body, together with other officials of the Assembly, the Party, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the directive of the aforementioned Friendship Association.
The member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and Chairman of its Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, received today at the headquarters of the Party, the Ambassador of Cuba, Mr. Pablo Antonio Rodríguez Vidal.
The meeting addressed issues of bilateral relations.
Embassy of Cuba in Laos
The new President of the Supreme People´s Prosecutor Office of Laos, Mr. Xaysana Khotphouthone, received on a courtesy visit today the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Antonio Rodriguez Vidal, at the headquarters of said body.
In a friendly meeting, topics of interest in the bilateral relations between the Supreme People´s Prosecutor Office and the Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba were addressed, according to the Memorandum of Understanding that both institutions signed in 2019.
This morning a videoconference took place between members of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
The delegations, led by Comrades Thongsavanh Pomvihane, member of the Central Committee and Head of the International Relations Committee of the LPRP and Jorge Luis Broche Lorenzo, Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC and Head of its Department of Education, Sports and Sciences, exchanged for three hours on topics of interest of both parties and especially, on the results of the 8th. Congress of the PCC.
