The President of the Lao Front for National Development reaffirms his willingness to collaborate with a similar organization in Cuba.

Vientiane, June 8, 2022.- The President of the Lao Front for National Development FLDN, SinlavongKhuthphaythun, received the Cuban ambassador Enna Viant Valdes on a courtesy visit, an occasion in which they exchanged information on the current tasks of both mass organizations. In particular, the Cuban diplomat invited the event organized by the National Directorate of the Committees for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution (CDR), in the month of September of this year.

Cuban Ambassador pays a courtesy visit to the Lao Minister of Education and Sports

Vientiane, June 22, 2022. Dr. Phout Simmalavong, Minister of Education and Sports received the Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes accompanied by senior executives of that ministry. The headline referred to the presence and imprint of Cuba on the Lao people for a long time, when the history of friendship and cooperation began to be woven with the arrival of Cuban doctors in the 1970s.

The Ambassadors of Cuba and Laos hold a positive meeting.

Vientiane, June 7, 2022. The Ambassadors of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Republic of Cuba Mr. Vanthah Sengmuag, and Mrs. Enna Viant Valdes held a lively meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RDPL.

Both diplomatic representatives reviewed the current bilateral issues in development and expressed the commitment to promote exchanges between Lao and Cuban leaders, take advantage of opportunities and work together in the direction of deepening and expanding relations.

Cuban Ambassador is interested in the development of the National Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Laos

Vientiane May 13, 2022. The Executive Vice President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Thanongsinh Kanlagna, received the visit of Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes, who was interested in the development experienced by that institution.

On her part, the Cuban diplomat updated on the priorities of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, and the potential and prestige it enjoys, in particular, as a promoter of business and commercial links with third countries.

Vientiane, May 9, 2022.- The expressions of sorrow of the Lao friends on the occasion of the death of Ricardo Alarcón are reiterated, this time with the signing of the book of condolence opened in this capital at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, by Comrades Ting Souksakanh, Acting minister for Foreign Affairs, and Bounthanh Bounthavilay Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procurator and Head of Organization of the Lao Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office.
