As the last activity of the Program of celebrations for the 55th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba, a conference was held in this capital of Vientiane by the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Antonio Rodríguez Vidal, on the history and role of our Party. during all these years of Revolution.
And today we were surprised by the Laos-Cuba Friendship Association. Its President, Dr. Chaleun Yiapahoer, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and Minister of the Prime Minister's office, together with the Vice President and other members of the Association's leadership, came to our residence to bring us a bouquet of flowers and congratulate us on the 55th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba.
As part of the program of activities organized by the Central Committee of the Lao Popular Revolutionary Party (CC LPRP) to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba, this Wednesday, September 30, the Ambassador of Cuba, Pablo Antonio Rodríguez Vidal , was received at the headquarters of the Central Committee by Comrade Sounthone Xayachack, Head of the Department of International Relations of the CC PPRL.
In the friendly meeting, issues on the bilateral agenda agreed between both parties were addressed.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs timely informed, around 2 o’clock today, that is, in the early hours in the morning of today, Thursday, April 30, 2020, a terrorist attack was perpetrated against the embassy of the Republic of Cuba to the United States in Washington. An unidentified individual shot at the building of the Cuban embassy in the US using an assault rifle.
None of the members of the staff of the mission was injured, who is safe and protected, but some material damages were caused to the building as a result of the numerous gunshots.
