The Delegation of the PCC that since yesterday visits the Lao People's Democratic Republic, headed by Cro. Juan Carlos Marsan Cabrera, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Party, was received today by the member of the Political Bureau of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (PPRL) and President of the Lao Front for National Development, Dr. Xaysomphone Phomvihane. Today arrived at Lao PDR, a delegation from the CDRs, headed by its National Vice-Coordinator, Cro, Oreste Llanes Mestre and also integrated by the comrades Soraya Igarza González, Coordinator in the Province of Holguín and the officials Teresa de Jesús Ramírez Paz and Héctor Miguel Fernández Paz.
Yesterday night, August 28th, in the Cuban Embassy in this brother country, it took place a farewell activity for the 5 students of the Lao People's Democratic Republic who were beneficiaries of the scholarships granted by Cuba to study the medical profession in the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). The students are YAYOUAKHA HOUATOUXAY, PHOUTMANY KEOMITHONG, MAIVUE KIATOU, CHEEMENGLEE BELEE and Ms. SOUDALANH KEOATSAVONG.
Vientiane, 20 June, 2017. The General Director of the Television Nationale Lao, Mr Bounchao Pichit received today the Ambassador of Cuba, H. E. Pablo A. Rodríguez Vidal, Who was accompanied by the Minister Counselor of the Embassy, comrade Conchita Muñoz Prieto, Minister-Counselor in charge, among other things, of the press.
In the meeting with Mr. Bounchao, who is in charge of the two state channels of the country, there were issues of relations between the institution and the Cuban Embassy in Laos.
