Director of the Cuban Medical Surgical Research Center (CIMEQ) visits INTERMED Hospital, the largest and most modern center in Mongolia

The director of the Medical Surgical Research Center (CIMEQ), Dr. Roberto Castellanos Gutiérrez, visited INTERMED Hospital, accompanied by the Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, and met with its executive director, Mr. Nyamtogtokh.Ya and other executives.

During the meeting, a video was shown with the history, characteristics, operation, capabilities, as well as the development and perspectives of INTERMED and its network of clinics in this capital and other provinces.

US complicity with violent acts against Cuba is strongly rejected

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects a new US act complicit with terrorist violence against Cuba.

The US judicial authorities have decided to release Alexander Alazo, the individual who, on April 30, 2020, stood in the middle of the street and shot 32 rounds with a machine gun against the Cuban embassy in that country, at the moment when 7 persons stayed inside the building.

Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia addressed a Round Table of some Ambassadors and entrepreneurs in the International "Mining Week x MinePro 2024" in Ulaanbaatar

The Round Table was Moderated by Mr. Terrence Edwards, from Bloomberg News. The Ambassadors of Australia, India, Canada and Cuba took part as speakers, besides Mr. Olivier Thoumyre, Senior Vice President of the French company ORANO and Mr. Narantsogt, Chief Executive Officer Erdenes Mongol Group LLC.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Jorge Ferrer highlighted that his country has already some important sucessful Joint Ventures with Foreign companies like Sherrit International from Canada, present for more than 30 years in the mining and oil sectors.

A delegation from Cuba is attending this week the Mongolia "Mining Week x MinePro 2024" International Mining Exhibition & Convention in Ulaanbaatar

A Cuban Delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) is attending this week the Mongolia "Mining Week x MinePro 2024" International Mining Exhibition & Convention in Ulaanbaatar.

The events are jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia and the Mongolian National Mining Association.

The Delegation is comprised of Mr. Jorge Hernandez Pavón, Director of the GEOMINSAL Centro Business Group, Mr. Juan Carlos Rivero Colas, official of the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines and Mr. Jorge Ferrer, Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia.
