Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association pays tribute to Che on the 53rd anniversary of his assassination.

Monrovia, October 8, 2020 - Much loved and respected in this West African country is Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, who for Liberians is an example of humanism, internationalism, sacrifice.

Today, 53 years after his assassination, the friends of solidarity in Liberia remember him as the creator of voluntary work, the man who broke down borders, the example of the struggle for the liberation of the peoples submerged in imperialism.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association condemns terrorist acts against Cuba.

Monrovia, October 6, 2020 - Today, Day of the Victims of State Terrorism, our diplomatic headquarters in Liberia received a visit from the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, Kesselee K. Kanneh, who was received by our Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Our Liberian friend was the bearer of a message condemning terrorist actions against Cuba orchestrated and financed by the United States for 60 years.

When a strong and virile people cry, injustice trembles.

Monrovia, October 6, 2020 - The Cuban Embassy in Liberia today paid tribute to the 73 victims of the terrorist attack committed 44 years ago against a Cubana de Aviación plane off the coast of Barbados, and whose perpetrators were never brought to justice for the crime.

The crime in Barbados is considered to be the worst attack of this kind in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most brutal acts of terrorism carried out against the Cuban Revolution by people in the service of the CIA.

Liberian press publishes article entitled "Cuba slams US for discrediting international medical cooperation".

Monrovia, October 1, 2020 - In its digital edition, the Liberia News reproduces paragraphs from the MINREX Declaration "The United States appreciates its campaign against Cuba's international medical cooperation".

Among them, it stands out that the ministry denounced a spurious and lying evaluation that is being prepared by and for the aggressive purposes of the United States in its eagerness to discredit Cuba's international cooperation.
