Monrovia, April 16, 2022 - On the occasion of the celebration of the 48th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Liberia, the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, on behalf of all its members, delivered a congratulatory message to the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
Monrovia, April 11, 2022 - In the morning hours, the Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Liberian Foreign Ministry by the Assistant Minister of American Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Hon. Maxwell P. Vah.
Both diplomats held a fruitful meeting where they discussed issues of interest of the bilateral agenda and in which both parties expressed their willingness to continue strengthening the ties that unite Cuba and Liberia.
Monrovia, April 8, 2022 – In a meeting held with Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, the president of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group, Kesselee King Kanneh, today condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years, which he defined as the worst violation of Human Rights. He also ratified his rejection of this inhuman policy and denounced its extraterritorial character.
Monrovia, April 6, 2022 - In the morning, the Cuban Embassy received the visit of Alfred Nahold Zulu, first Liberian graduate in the Greater Antilles, who was received by the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
Both had a special and emotional exchange where the gratitude and praise to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and to our country prevailed.
Alfred Zulu, a graduate in Forestry Engineering, thanks the University of Pinar del Rio for having obtained his degree in 1995.
Monrovia, April 5, 2022 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a fraternal and friendly exchange with colleague and member of the diplomatic corps Stephen Rodriguez, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Liberia.
During the meeting, the two diplomats discussed issues of interest to both parties. The issue of Cuba's solidarity with countries of the African continent stole the lion's share of the exchange.
