Strengthening ties of solidarity: Cuban Ambassador visits the headquarters of the Nigerian Labour Congress

Abuja, January 16, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), the largest trade union organization in Nigeria and West Africa. During the meeting, she had a fruitful exchange with the president of said organization, Comrade Joe Ajaero, as well as with other executives and historical trade union leaders who were present.

Abuja, January 15, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, attended the commemorative mass for the Day of Remembrance of the Nigerian Armed Forces, within the framework of the 50th anniversary of this important celebration. At the ceremony, members of the diplomatic corps and senior leaders of the Nigerian government were present, reaffirming international recognition of the work of the armed forces of this country.

66 years of Revolution

Abuja, January 1, 2025.- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, along with workers of the diplomatic mission and a representation of the community of Cubans residing in Nigeria, celebrated today, January 1, the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

Children's Day

Abuja, November 20, 2024.- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, participated this morning in the ceremony for World Children's Day, held at the headquarters of the United Nations diplomatic mission in Nigeria.

The moment was opportune to highlight the achievements of the Cuban Revolution in this sector and the actions that have been carried out both on and off the island in pursuit of the care and development of a healthy childhood.
